Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Viento Home collects on its website, what we use it for and what rights you have. We process data in line with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.

  1. 1.Who processes your data

    Your data is processed by Viento Home. For any question about your data, write to info@viento.ge or call +995 558 60 18 36.

  2. 2.What we collect

    • When you order: first and last name, phone number, email (if you give it), delivery address, your note, the items ordered, their prices and the order's status.
    • When you create an account: first and last name, email, phone number and password. The password is stored only as a hash (scrypt) it cannot be recovered from - nobody can see your password, us included.
    • If you tick "Save these details for next time" at checkout, we also keep your delivery address on your account.
    • For security: a temporary count of sign-in and order attempts, kept under a hash of the email or phone number, which expires within an hour.

    Our system does not store IP addresses or browser details. The server hosting the website may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security. We use no analytics, advertising cookies or tracking code.

  3. 3.What we use it for

    • to confirm your order - we call you to confirm the order and the delivery time;
    • to deliver and install the furniture;
    • to show your account and your orders;
    • to answer questions and handle complaints;
    • to protect the website from misuse;
    • to meet our legal obligations, such as accounting.

    We process data to perform our contract with you (your order, your account), to meet legal obligations, and in our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. We do not send you advertising.

  4. 4.Who sees your data

    • the Viento Home team that handles orders;
    • the people who deliver and install your furniture - only what they need for it (name, phone, address);
    • the website's hosting provider, on whose server the data is stored;
    • public authorities - only when the law requires it.

    We do not sell your data or pass it to anyone for advertising.

  5. 5.Cookies and browser storage

    The website uses only what it needs to work:

    • viento_customer - a cookie that keeps you signed in. It is set only when you sign in, and lasts 30 days or until you sign out.
    • viento-cart and viento-wishlist - your cart and wishlist, kept only in your browser (localStorage).
    • viento-theme - your choice of light or dark theme, also in your browser.

    There are no third-party cookies on the website. When you follow a link to Facebook or Instagram, their own rules apply.

  6. 6.How long we keep it

    • account details - as long as the account exists;
    • orders - as long as needed to fulfil the order and handle any complaint, and for as long as the law requires (for example, for accounting records);
    • sign-in sessions - 30 days or until you sign out;
    • attempt counts - they expire within an hour.

    If you delete your account, orders we are required by law to keep stay, no longer linked to the account.

  7. 7.Your rights

    Under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection you have the right to:

    • know what data we process about you and get a copy of it;
    • have wrong or outdated data corrected - you can also change your name, phone, email and address yourself in My account;
    • have your data deleted, or its processing stopped or blocked;
    • have your data transferred, where the law provides for it;
    • complain to the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia (personaldata.ge) or to a court.

    To make a request, write to info@viento.ge. We will reply within the time the law sets. We may ask you to confirm who you are, so that we do not give your data to someone else.

  8. 8.Security

    Passwords are stored as hashes, the sign-in cookie cannot be read by scripts in the browser, order links are random and cannot be guessed, and only our team can open the admin panel. Nobody can promise complete security online, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

  9. 9.Children

    The website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

  10. 10.Changes

    We may update this policy, for example when we add something new to the website. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
